Abstract: The compiling background, significance and process of GB/T 24183-2021 standard were introduced, and the contents of relevant chapters were described in detail. The GB/T 24183-2021 standard was the first revision. In order to fully understand the international standard, the standard compliance test was carried out with thin steel plate and aluminum alloy plate as samples. This standard provided strong technical support for guiding and standardizing the production and acceptance of metal sheets and strips, and could also improve the research and development capabilities and process performance of metal sheets and strips.
