Abstract: A Y-type filter cracked during operation. The cracking reason of Y-type filter was analyzed by macro observation, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analysis. The results show that the working medium of the Y-type filter mainly contained O, S, Cl and other corrosive elements, resulting in dezincification corrosion cracking of the filter during operation.
