Abstract: The latest development of standard system of Vickers hardness testing on welds in metal materials at home and abroad was introduced, and the shortcomings of the current standard system of Vickers hardness test for weld of metal materials in China were compared and analyzed. Compared with the international standards, the some current standards of Vickers hardness testing on welds in metal materials in China had a longer standard age and need to be revised more quickly. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the mutual reference between standards and realize the unity of methods among standards.
