    Cause of Stress Corrosion Fracture on Grade 12. 9 High Strength Hexagon Socket Bolt

    • 摘要: 某12.9级高强度内六角螺栓用于车床刀具的固定,在服役过程中发生断裂。通过宏观观察、断口分析和化学成分分析等方法,结合螺栓安装位置和工作环境对螺栓的断裂原因进行了分析。结果表明:刀具在清洗时,清洗液从刀盘和刀夹缝隙中渗入,引起腐蚀,并在工作应力的作用下发生应力腐蚀断裂。

       

      Abstract: A grade 12. 9 high strength hexagon socket bolt was used to fix the lathe tool, which fractured in service. The causes of fracture were analyzed by means of macroscopic observation, fracture analysis and chemical composition analysis, combined with bolt installation position and working environment. The results show that the cleaning fluid entered from the gap between cutter head and tool holder during tool cleaning, which resulted in corrosion and stress corrosion fracture occurred under the working stress.
