    50Cr钢轴加工时断裂的原因

    Cause of Fracture of 50Cr Steel Shaft during Machining

    • 摘要: 经调质热处理的50Cr钢棒在车削加工为钢轴时发生断裂。通过化学成分分析、金相检验以及硬度测试等方法,结合加工和热处理工艺对钢轴的断裂原因进行了分析。结果表明:50Cr钢轴发生了脆性断裂。主要原因是在调质淬火热处理过程中形成了上贝氏体,降低了材料的力学性能;钢轴表面的加工刀痕和台阶根部的应力集中是发生脆性断裂的诱因。

       

      Abstract: The 50Cr steel bar after quenching and tempering heat treatment fractured when turning into steel shaft. The fracture causes of steel shaft were analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination and hardness test, combined with processing and heat treatment process. The results show that brittle fracture occurred in the 50Cr steel shaft. The main reason was the formation of upper bainite during quenching and tempering heat treatment, which reduced the mechanical properties of material. The processing trace on the surface of steel shaft and the stress concentration at the root of step were the inducing factors for brittle fracture.
