Abstract: The hardness test standards of tinplate at home and abroad were compared and analyzed. The results show that there were some differences in the selection of test scale, indenter type, surface tin layer and surface roughness. Both the manufacturer and the user of tinplate shall pay attention to the identification of standards, so as to unify the standards implemented by both the supplier and the demander in the hardness test of tinplate.
