    某汽车蓄电池用H65黄铜电缆端子开裂原因分析

    Cause Analysis on Cracking of H65 Brass Cable Terminal of a Automobile Battery

    • 摘要: 某汽车蓄电池H65黄铜电缆端子在现场装配后出现多起开裂故障。通过宏观观查、化学成分分析、断口分析、金相检验、硬度测试、盐雾模拟试验等方法对端子开裂的原因进行了分析。结果表明:汽车蓄电池电缆端子冲压成型后残余应力未得到有效释放,且端子在存储期间接触到H2O,O2,CO2等介质,导致其发生了应力腐蚀开裂。

       

      Abstract: There were many cracks in the cable terminal of a automobile battery after assembling on site. The causes of terminal cracking were analyzed by macroscopic observation, chemical composition analysis, fracture analysis, metallographic examination, hardness test and salt spray simulation test. The results show that the residual stress of the battery cable terminal was not effectively released after stamping, and the terminal was exposed to H2O, O2, CO2 and other media during storage, resulting in stress corrosion cracking.
