Abstract: Hydraulic pressure test and air tightness test shall be carried out for insulator casting by epoxy resin during delivery inspection, but the inspection efficiency was low. The hydraulic pressure test and air tightness test were combined to the comprehensive test of the combination of hydraulic pressure and air tightness test method for insulator. The results show that the comprehensive test method improved the inspection efficiency, shortened the production cycle, and realized the safety, environmental protection and energy saving of insulator quality inspection.
