    高压加热器管板与筒节环焊缝横向裂纹产生原因分析

    Cause Analysis of Transverse Cracks on Circumferential Weld of Tubesheet and Shell Ring of High Pressure Heater

    • 摘要: 某未服役高压加热器管板与筒节环焊缝产生了密集的横向裂纹。通过宏观检验、化学成分分析、硬度测试及金相检验等方法对裂纹产生原因进行了分析。结果表明:裂纹位于管板侧的熔合线区域,萌生于热影响区的粗晶区,主要沿晶界扩展,扩展方向垂直于环焊缝;裂纹具有典型的氢致裂纹特征,属于焊接冷裂纹,焊缝冷却收缩时产生的较大内应力也促进了裂纹的萌生和扩展。

       

      Abstract: Transverse cracks were found on circumferential weld of tubesheet and shell ring of an unused high pressure heater. Causes of cracks were analyzed by macroscopic inspection, chemical composition analysis, hardness testing and metallographic examination. The results show that the cracks located in the fusion zone of tubesheet, generated in the coarse grain area of heat affected zone (HAZ), they extended along grain boundaries and were perpendicular to the circumferential weld. The cracks were welding cold cracks with typical characteristics of hydrogen induced crack, and large internal stress produced by cooling shrinkage of weld seam also promoted the initiation and propagation of cracks.
