    某挤出机螺杆断裂原因分析

    Cause Analysis on Fracture of an Extruder Screw

    • 摘要: 某德国进口的熔融挤出机在投入使用7 a(年)后螺杆发生断裂,采用断口宏观分析、化学成分分析、拉伸试验、断口微观分析、金相检验、显微硬度测试等方法,对螺杆断裂原因进行了分析。结果表明:断裂螺杆的滚条堆焊层热影响区宽度不均匀,显微组织变形,材料中的脆性夹杂物在外力作用下引起应力集中是螺杆热影响区萌生裂纹源的主要原因;裂纹在螺杆扭转应力作用下沿堆焊层逐渐扩展最终导致疲劳断裂。

       

      Abstract: The screw of a melting extruder imported from Germany fractured after being put into use for 7 a (annual). The causes of fracture were analyzed by means of macroscopic analysis, chemical composition analysis, tensile test, fracture microscopic analysis, metallographic examination, micro-hardness test and so on. The results show that the main reasons for the initiation of the crack source in the heat affected region of the screw were the uneven width of heat affected region of roller hardfacing layer, microstructure deformation, and the stress concentration caused by the brittle inclusions in the material under external force. The cracks gradually expanded along the hardfacing layer under the action of torsion stress of the screw, and fatigue fracture eventually occurred.
