Abstract: The ZG15Cr2Mo1 alloy casting's lifting handle fractured during the lifting process. The fracture reasons of the lifting handle were analyzed by means of macro observation, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test, metallographic test, high temperature tensile test, creep test and so on. The results show that the casting's lifting handle grains was coarse, and its impact absorption energy was low and the transition fillet was small, and the stress was concentrated in the area. Improper operation during the lifting process of the casting caused the lifting handle to fracture by impact.
