    某钻铤断裂原因分析

    Causes Analysis on Fracture of One Drilling Collar

    • 摘要: 某油田使用的一6″(165.1 mm)钻铤在钻井过程中发生了接头断裂失效事故。通过对断裂钻铤进行宏观检验、超声波测厚、磁粉探伤、化学成分分析、金相检验等,分析了该钻铤断裂失效的原因。结果表明:该钻铤断裂形式属于疲劳断裂,裂纹萌生于螺纹齿底根部,钻井过程中过大井眼产生的环空空隙使钻铤接头受力更加恶劣,加速了裂纹的萌生和扩展,最后在内部高压泥浆的冲击下发生断裂。

       

      Abstract: Fracture failure of one 6″ (165.1 mm) drilling collar used in an oil field occurred during drilling. The fracture causes of the drilling collar were analyzed from the aspects of macroscopic inspection, ultrasonic thickness measurement, magnetic powder inspection, chemical composition analysis, metallurgical analysis, and so on. The results show that the fracture mode of the drilling collar was fatigue fracture. The cracks initiated at the bottom of the thread. With the annular clearance enlarged, the cracks initiated and propagated due to the serious stress environment during drilling. Finally, the drilling collar fractured under the impact of the internal high-pressure mud.
